Editing Tag Style in AutoCAD Plant 3D

I am trying to edit pre existing annotation tags.

The style has the Area-Type-Loop#. I only need two categories and want to remove "area".

I found this online which explains how to make a tag style to use: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-plant-3d/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2018/....

How do i replace the annotation that is pre-existing?

The tag annotation style, for the block, is edited through the block, yes?

Hi @Londynn.Jensen

Sorry, just editing my response here.

I suggest not to replace it but create a new tag for yourself.

Just click new then a Tag Set-up Format window will appear, from there you can adjust how many subparts you may need. Since you just need to remove "area" that leaves you to have 2 subparts. So set the number of subparts to 2.

Then it will give you 2 fields only.

You can choose your target object by clicking on those symbols that I encircled. Please see image.

Once you have done creating your tag.

On the properties box, just above that Tag Format box, you have to scroll down all the way until you find TagFormatNumber and set your default value to the new tag that you just created.

See image below as reference.
