Customize the project folder structure

Hi All

I sit with the same question as the search in the link below:

change/customize the project folder structure? - Autodesk Community - AutoCAD Plant 3D

According to the one user who replied it is possible, but no one shared how to do this. Can someone maybe help?

Hi,

You can re-path the P&ID Drawings, Plant 3D Drawings and Related Files folders in Project Setup or in the wizard during project creation and you can create sub folders below them in the Project Manager window. You can also re-path the Spec Sheets folder.  However, you cannot create additional top-level folders in the tree.

Any changes you make, will be inherited by any new projects you create if you copy settings from your current project.

Plant 3D will not recognise any folders that are not displayed in the Project Manager window.

If you have an existing company project folder structure, you can map Plant 3D folders to locations within that structure, but Plant 3D cannot manage the overall structure.
