creating bill of material table in iso template which can display quantity of material in both metric and imperial unit using iso config.
So we're going to have the metric number as the one generated by iso, and we want another field next to it that displays the imperial value. You can insert a field into the attribute/mtext and within that go to Field Category --> Objects --> Formula, then in the formula: box right click and add a field there, select the field that contains the metric value and you'll want to probably do by named object and contents or text or whatever. From there back in your formula you'll want to multiply that field by 3.281 to get your decimal version of imperial feet. If you want to play with getting it to display actual feet and inches you can play with the formatting and all that fun stuff, but this all should get you there.
Thanks for your reply. But what I am trying to say is that I want to add a extra column in the table setup which gives me the quantity of material in imperial unit too. I tired to find a way in project setup>isometric dwg settings>Title block and display>setup title block>table layout>add column>select class property. but i didn't find any solution. so I am trying to modify iso config file using xml editor.
I think you would need to set up a custom property with _PLANTDEFINECALCPROPERTIES this could calculate the length in inches based on the actual length property (mm)
AKN has an article that shows how to calculate flow rate, you can use it as a template for your property.
You can add the calculated property just like you can add any other property to your bom
