Change Gasket type

I have a standard gasket I use throughout the plant.  However, we use a special gasket for glass lined vessels.  I have created the gasket, added it to the spec, but whenever I put a flange connection in and try to change the item, it just says 'Flanged Connection.'  How do I select which gasket to put in?

For instance, if I want to put in a reducer and put one in, it will automatically put in a 6"x4" reducer, but then I can select change part and put in a 6"x3" reducer.  I want to be able to do this with the gaskets.

You need to hover over the gasket and hold down the "Ctrl" key.  Then select the gasket.  That will bring up the drop down menu with options similar to other fittings.

Thanks.  That shows the bolt set but not the type of gasket.  I ran an iso just to make sure and the gasket that I usually use is in the BOM.

You can select both the bolt set and the gasket in this manner.  Are you sure you are selecting only the gasket and not the bolt?

I hover over the little red disk, hold ctrl, then click.  That takes me to the bolt selection, but no gasket.  If there is something else, please let me know.

Change your view style to wireframe, it is almost impossible to select otherwise.

When you go wireframe you should be able to see the gasket.

Set SELECTIONCYCLING variable to 2. Then hover over flanged connection, select gasket. You will see Selection dialog box wher you will be able to pick gasket.
