Branch Table Editor Issues

Hi,

I'm developing several new Plant 3D specs for a project where the client wants us to use their pipe specs vs. our own. I'm trying to setup the branch tables for these specs but am running into a couple of issues:

1. Under the Branch Fitting dropdown at the top right, there are no options available. The dropdown only contains "Multi Branch Selection..." which is disabled.

2. Double-clicking in any of the branch table cells momentarily brings up an empty Select Branch List dialogue before Spec Editor closes entirely.

So I guess the key issues are that the branch table isn't finding any available resources to draw on and that it crashes when trying to set the connection type by clicking on one of the size cells.

Any help/insight is appreciated!

@_Jeff_Roy_ ,

the following components should be present in your spec:
- Pipe
-T-piece
-T-piece reducing
-Reducer

This provides the basis for a branch table

@h_eger Understood, thank you. All of these components are already present in the spec.

@_Jeff_Roy_ ,

"Multi Branch Selection..." = please select more than one field in the branch table so that it works

Have you received all of your customer's catalogues and specifications?

Which version of SpecEditor are you using?

Can you post pictures or videos of your problem?

Everything works as it should for me with P3D 2025.

@h_eger I'm on 2022 for this project. We have only received the client specs in document format so I need to build the corresponding Plant 3D specs for use. Not necessarily building from scratch if we have an in-house spec that's close to the client spec - in these cases I'm just taking our in-house spec and adding/removing components as applicable and updating descriptions.

Here's a video of what's happening. First part is just to show that I have pipe, reducers, and tees available in the spec. Then I switch to the Branch Table Editor tab, show the dropdown, and finally select a couple of cells to try and set the connection type. After doing this, the empty Select Branch List dialogue box opens, and Spec Editor crashes. .
