Add a new data source into Report Creator 2018 template

Hi Dear Community,

I remember there was a way to add a new data source in earlier versions of Report Creator. For example, it worked exactly in the 2015 version, look at the screen below:

New Data Source.png

But now in Report Creator 2018 there is no opportunity to add a new source. When I click 'add a new data sourse' in the same menu there is no reaction.

Is it normal or bug?

The same issue is in Plant Report Creator 2019.

Autodesk Support Team, I'm waiting for your comments.

Thanks.

Dear @Artem_Marinin,

unfortunately it is again a problem with autodesk who are not able to get the Report Creator 2018 under Windows 10 to work.
Under Windows 7, this misconduct is not found and all functions are working properly.
Who uses Windows 10 has probably once again had bad luck when working with autodesk products.

I could not test it on Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D 2019 yet.

Hi @h_eger

Thanks for the information.

I work under Windows 7 SP1 and have the issue with Report Creator 2018 and 2019 (RC2017 have not been tested).

Still hope to get comments from Autodesk Team.

Hello Artem,

the Autodesk support has just called me and confirmed that there is a problem with the libraries of DevExpress that have occurred after the last Windows Update.
Autodesk is working with high pressure on a solution to the problem with Report Creator 2018/2019

Hi Arthem,

I can reproduce this behavior and have logged this issue to development department. It is a new issue. The issue what Hartmut has talked about is on Windows 10 only with the latest Windows 10 Update installed, not on Windows 7
