Dear @Anonymous,

Please read options for parameter "P" no angle input but 0,1, or 2

Sorry I already read it.

It does not solve my problem.  Model is ok. How to set the actuator correctly? Is it set up iso orientation?

Thank you for your support

This is still an issue, one of my partners just faced it!

Did Autodesk solved this problem in the last two years or is there a workaround?

Thank you!

Maybe someone can help?

I’ve tried many things about it even in the latest version of Plant 2022 there is that bug that hasn’t been fixed. The only solution currently working is to change the type to  "INSTRUMENT" and then the orientation actuator head comes out properly in isometric. Then in IsoConfig the instrument list must be added to the BOM in order to see on  the isometry as well as to write what the orientation and to make filters for other instruments that should not be on the BOM list.

Do not create 3-way valves in the user-defined dialog but create them in the catalog editor. This solves this problem.

No it doesn't solve the problem, i always use catalog editor for components custom or parametric and it's not working.

Generaly Plant 3D have the actuator orientation  problem in isometric   with certain groups: VALVE-3WAY, VALVE-4WAY and VALVE-MULTIWAY.

Hi to all,

We also have this problem on our projects.
@h_eger Are you sugest that we do not use Option "Create Custom Part" , or that Option not work ?
I am counfused, this option is from Autocad Plant 3D 2010
Do we need to inform Autodesk about this problem ?

@milic.srdjan

Informing Autodesk Support is always a good solution.

We said goodbye to custom parts a long time ago because problems kept coming up.
We only use custom parts as placeholders as long as we have defined the actual line components.

The custom parts worked very well up to version 2015, from version 2016 the behavior of the actuators was modified and since then it has not worked so well with custom parts and actuators.

Hi to all,

Thanks everyone on participation in this topic- without this community it would be impossible to get some advice.

So thanks..

The situation is much clearer now.

Maybe Autodesk will fix these bugs someday. Some bugs exist in plant 3d for decade...

Maybe we can organize some birthday party for every bug..

Regarding to Mr. @h_eger  this bug exist five years so next year and this bug will come to school - first grade.
Perhaps mechanical engineers should follow the example of architects and send a nice letter to the @autodesk.
