3D Display Issues

I'm new to Plant 3D (coming from Inventor) and I'm having severe display issues.  Objects appear fragmented and triangles jump all over when navigating.  I'm using an Nvidia RTX 3060 on card on Win11.  Things I've tried so far:

Several versions of the Nvidia driver including the latest.

All display modes (realistic, shaded etc.)

Every possible combination of settings in System/Graphics Performance

AutoCAD Plant 3D 2021 and 2023.

Consolidation Mode 0

Any thoughts?  Any help much appreciated.

Dear @len.krenzler ,

GEFORCE RTX 3060 is not a supported graphics card for AutoCAD and its vertical products

Hmm...that's odd because here it seems to be.  They specify only DX12 which it certainly has.

We have Qudadro's in the office too so I'll try it there but we've never found a difference before.

Greetings @len.krenzler

1) your 2021s and 2023s need to be fully updated: show us screenshots from both to confirm if you do or not. Win11? you would not be the first user with major issues in that OS choice.

2) In the 2023s, turn off the GFXDX12 feature and see if that helps.

3) In both versions, start GRAPHICSCONFIG command then play around with all the graphics settings starting with the pulldown and the various checked boxes that are on by default.

4) change your SHADEMODE settings, try many of the others.

5) Test graphics cards drivers in your OS: newer/latest from your PC maker are best first choice, Win11 resources second, GPU maker third. One or more slightly older versions may be the answer too.

BUT... If all the above offer no relief, then start a support ticket with Autodesk through your Accounts page since I assume sharing DWG file(s) is not going to be an option.

1) Thanks so much for all the info. AutoCAD and P3D are fully up to date. I removed 2021 since it wasn't any better. Win11 I am not happy with in many ways but wasn't my choice. It could be the problem.

2) Tried but no difference.

3) Already tried ever possible combination of settings.

4) Wireframe works well but all shaded views are terrible. Some drawings display correctly but are super slow. Coming from Inventor, I don't know if this is normal. Are shaded views always slow? I've tried all suggestions I can find on Autodesk sites but no improvement.

5) Tried about 10 different versions of the graphics card driver including some very old ones but no difference.

In a day or two I'll have the chance to test it on a Win10 machine with a Quadro P2000 to see if it makes any difference.

I started a similar thread here since the same problems show up just in AutoCAD with a 3D file. The file is there to test if you have the time. Thanks so much!

I tried the same file on a Windows 10 machine with a Quadro P2000 which is listed as "approved".  It made no difference.

Must be something wrong with these files or something I don't understand about AutoCAD/Plant3D.
