2018, CANT SELECT FROM PROPERTY LIST

I am having trouble with off page utility connectors.  I have a property set up with the connection number, and the property is set up in the project setup as a list and not read-only.  when I go to use the utility connector in the project, I cannot select from my list.  It is as if the property is read only, but that option is not selected.   I was able to select from the property list up until about a week ago, and now it is locked out.  I've even tried creating new connectors and new lists with no luck.  Any advise?

Post some images from project setup(where the property has been added) and component properties in drawing area.

Thank you for replying to my question.  Here are the two pics you requested.  The problem is I can't select from my properties list from the properties pallet for (UTILITY_SUPPLY or UTILTIY_CONNECTOR).  The field is locked out from editing.  I was able to select from my list in the properties pallet prior but for some reason, at some point, that ability became unavailable.  I can change the value of those fields from the data manager.  Any ideas to help me out?

Hi @dolds,

I've seen similar behavior with the properties palette when there was a side by side installation of Plant 3D 2018 and 2019. This is something the development team has been looking into.

If you have the Plant 3D 2018.1.1 update, could you please attempt to uninstall and reinstall that update? In previous cases, this has helped solve the issue.

Thank you,

That was the issue.  I had recently installed P3D 2019.  I didn't try reinstalling the update you mentioned, but switched to using P3D 2019 instead.  Now the OPC utility connector properties are selectable from the Properties palette as expected.

Appreciatively,

Doug

I never solved the issue though Plant 3D 2018.  However, by installing P3D 2019 (free with my current license) the problem went away.  Do you have 2019 installed?  If so, switch to using that instead.  Just my humble opinion.  It is a pain to transfer all the custom blocks and templates, etc. to the newer version.

I have installed both version 2018 and 2019. When i uninstall and install Plant 3D 2018.1.1 update and start Plant 3D 2018 property list is correct, but in Plant 3D 2019 property list is corrupt. Very interesting bug Smiley Happy
