XREF relative paths in Drive do not work

Posting this here instead of the Drive forum:
Just started tinkering with AutoDesk Drive and the web version of AutoCAD with a view to making use of AutoDesk Docs.
Uploaded a project folder to Drive. All files (created with AutoCAD 2021) remain in their respective folder locations. XREF paths are relative. No paths go outside of the project folder. There are typically 4 or 5 XREFs overlaid into a main DWG.
Upon opening a DWG file using the web version of AutoCAD, either no XREFs are found or maybe only one is found and loaded. Refreshing the webpage causes all XREFS to be not found.
Tried resolving the path of one XREF within the web version and that initially was successful. Save file back to Drive. But refreshing the page causes the loss of the XREF once again.
I did notice this though:
After resolving a path, the relative path changes from using back slashes to forward slashes e.g. ..\..\myXref.dwg becomes ../../myXref.dwg
After losing the XREF for a second time and resolving the path for a second time, the XREF is still not found.
Is it me or is it them?
Is Drive/Web/Docs worth pursuing?
PS. There is something screwy with the "Attach XREF" dialogue within the web version. The paths can appear like this:
Project01 > Drawings
with a list of selectable folders below, including the project folder.
So, it's possible for me to create a path like this:
Project01 > Drawings > Project 01 > Drawings
which is obviously nonsensical.
