Autocad web app and Google

I am a technician assigned to the Miller Place School District.  Currently, they have educational version of Autocad and the school is switching to the Google platform (Gsuite).  I followed the instructions and integrated the web app version of Autocad in to our Google school domain.  I have a few questions regarding the web app...

First - when I click on the web app through Google nothing happens - is something supposed to happen?

next - My teachers say they can't see the web app icon in the Google app container.  I've been working with Google a couple of years now and I'm pretty sure I have the access and permissions set correctly.  Do you have instructions on how to set up teachers and students in Google Gsuite?

next - Do I need to re create the users on the web app website?

I appreciate all help on these questions!!!

Thanks in advance,

Adam

GSUITE is not a supported file storage option, only these:

Capture.PNG

NOTE: AutoCADWEB required a 64bit platform OS and browser, it fails everywhere else (like all Chromebooks for example).

Hi Tom,

No, that really didn't help me.  Google drive is part of gsuite.  That's not the issue.

The issue is I added the autocad web app to our gsuite domain and when I click on the app nothing happens.  Before I get 125 phone calls because the app is not working on their google profile, I want to ensure I have it set up correctly.  Also, is there another way, besides sending an email, for users to sign in using autocad web app?

I have some teachers saying they can't see the app in their google app container - why would the app disappear?  Does the app just redirect the user to the autocad website?

The issue is GSUITE is not a supported service. Sorry, there is no roundabout way to get it to work, there is nothing to set up as an end user.

Google and Autodesk need to agree to pay each other for it to work, that's not happening just yet. Maybe in a month/year/5-years/decade from now, no one around here knows for sure.
