Please provide a setting to turn off 'append Layout name to Filename'

Please provide a setting to turn off 'append Layout name to Filename' - this has been an issue for a very long time.

That is, when plotting to PDF, the name of the layout/s are included in the PDF name (eg Drawing1.dwg -> Drawing1-Layout1.dwg)

We use the AutoCAD DWGtoPDF pc3 file in this case.

I know there are a few workarounds for this idea, but they are not always suitable for every user, and are still workarounds.

eg rename Layout -> ".Layout", this is not a solution if the drawing is for a client (and if you are doing very little changes on many existing drawings).

eg change the PDF plotter, not everyone has admin rights, or allowed to use anything different.

eg get a batch renaming tool, not everyone has admin rights, or allowed to use 3rd party programs etc.

Was there a fix for this? I would like to get rid of the "layout" when printing to a PDF.
