The function ARC has a subfunction <CONTINUE>  Could the function PLINE also get this subfunction. The idea would be that instead of just adding a single vertex you can draw a new polyline as an extension of an existing one without having to join them afterwards. Once you start drawing you would simply have the same functionalities as the PLINE command. it can either work as a separate command (PLCONT) or as a subcommand of the PLINE or PEDIT command. If you enter the command, AutoCAD could prompt you to select a polyline to continue and you will immediately start from the last vertex to continue.  At this point you get the option to reverse the Polyline in case you wish to continue from the first vertex. Once you put a new vertex the option to reverse no longer shows. the function would not work on closed polylines. In case a closed polyline is chosen a prompt will tell the user why that polyline is not a valid choice. I think this should be a basic Autocad functionality, carrying through in all different Autocad versions. Show More

I would like to make a unique block of my existing block to make a few changes and continue from there. Googling this gave me a solution that makes a unique block by flattening the block or using lisp files, but I loose the dynamic functions of the block.    Adding this command would really increase the productivity further which the use of Dynaminc blocks provide.  Show More

I know currently AutoCAD 360 only works with A360 Drive.  I am surprised it does not have the ability to access the A360 Team Cloud.    This program would be perfect for the engineer to communicate ideas and layouts with the plant or floor manager, as the manager could modify the drawing to show where there are conflicts caused by other equipment or accessways, that were not relayed to the engineer/engineering team with the basic site plan (without the need of a full CAD software package).  They would also be able to show where they feel the equipment would be better located on the revised file, instead of printing out a hard copy, pencil in the changes, and hope all the markings scan in a readable way before being e-mailed to the team members.  If it had access to the Team Cloud than the files could be kept with the other files concerning a project instead of being spread across multiple clouds.   Rich Cizik Show More

Please consider AutoCAD 360 Pro a benefit for users with an active subscription. If the executive decision is to make autocad viable on a mobile device, then do it properly. Incentivize it's use by making the full version available to professionals, build the cost into the subscription fee and make it's use intuitive, fast and efficacious. Nickle and diming a subscription user for s mobile app that's slow and limited will simply be passed over by anyone with a deadline. I know this seems harsh however; Autodesk does outstanding work and has the capability to make this a great product if so motivated. Show More

Please provide a setting to turn off 'append Layout name to Filename' - this has been an issue for a very long time. That is, when plotting to PDF, the name of the layout/s are included in the PDF name (eg Drawing1.dwg -> Drawing1-Layout1.dwg) We use the AutoCAD DWGtoPDF pc3 file in this case.   I know there are a few workarounds for this idea, but they are not always suitable for every user, and are still workarounds.   eg rename Layout -> ".Layout", this is not a solution if the drawing is for a client (and if you are doing very little changes on many existing drawings). eg change the PDF plotter, not everyone has admin rights, or allowed to use anything different. eg get a batch renaming tool, not everyone has admin rights, or allowed to use 3rd party programs etc. Show More
