AutoCAD - Bring back multiline command in Ribbon panel

AutoCAD - Bring back multiline command in Ribbon panel

Hi

I have been using AutoCAD for all my life...I started working on it the same day I went for my interview, and it's been going well since then.  I have learned about the multiline command a while after and I felt cheated whenI did.  This command saves a lot of time spent on drawing steel sections and brick walls as I do not have to offset lines 10 million times.  If this command was active in the ribbon panels my life would have been a lot easier as most time creating sections through buildings was wasted on the offset and trim commands, this was mostly finished after hours.

The commands that I am speaking about is as follows:

  • MLstyle
  • MLedit
  • Mline

These commands were in one of the first releases of AutoCAD if I am not mistaken and will add great value to the Product.

Even though these commands are awesome, it still has a few drawbacks:

  • Not in the Ribbon panels *just overstating this...
  • Not a dialog box available to choose styles and justification when using the MLine command (have to remember the names of the actual styles created which can become cumbersome if you have a huge list of Multilines.  This can also be selected from the command line by using the [?] option.
  • Not in the Ribbon panels.

If you don't know what I am talking about then go check this video that I have created about this command (Sorry for no Audio): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpbPHTyXGyk

So add those commands yourself using CUI command, no need to wait on someone else to do it for you, so many tutorials online, here are some of many

You should have just asked in a regular forum, this is not a worthy wishlist, you just did not know there was an answer already.
