save files locally

I need to save files locally. I can't find any specific instructtions for doing so. every option seems to be some form of file sharing. Many of the people/vendors I work with NEED the actual file I created. No one I work with uses DB or other fileshare. I just need to download the dwg's locally. Why is this so difficult?

"locally" means what to us with no knowledge about what device you use or how you access the AutoCADMobile app and your files? Where is the file(s) located now?

How are you accessing the AutoCADMobile App and the file in question?

I use the mobule app - for my Ipad pro. so the files are saved within the Autocad Mobile app, but not available as dwg or dxf files, as far as I can tell.

As I stated in the post, I need to send the ACTUAL files i created to recipients via email. I work with people who do not use DB, Google, etc. filesharing platforms. They need the actual file. This file exists somewhere - no doubt in the cloud somewhere, but I would like to have a copy to place in a file folder locally -- meaning a file folder on my ipad. I see no way of obtaining the actual file i created w/o utilizing a filesharing, cloud-based platform. Any suggestion? thanks,

The Mobile App offers no ability to share files, it is not a file sharing app.

You need to download your file from the App's Website files manager to your device or to a PC, then EMAIL that file to anyone you want. Here is he link to the website https://web.autocad.com/#/filemanager.html

FWIW All file-sharing platforms let you send files to other people as download link: what is he challenge there, that has been popular for many years now. Everyone knows how to use it, if you have a special needs recipient you need to make all the effort to download and send actual files by email.

Good luck.
