>>>...When did this stop? ...<<<
When they switched from the old application to the "core AutoCAD" coding that broke this ability.

Hello @roan.vercammen

thank you for your post.

The marked solution in this forum thread from January 2020 still describes the current state: Export to PDF missing?

I understand your frustration, but currently no timeline is known when this functionality is available in the app.

@Anonymous

Did the post help you and answered your question even though it does not provide the missed functionality? If yes, feel free to click on the button "Mark as Solution". Thus also other users can benefit from the information. In case you still need help please feel free to provide an update here so we as Community know how we can help you best moving forward.

Best regards,

Thomas

This is terrible.  I use this application for several year now, and this feature was available for most of the time.     We not all architect and I engrener in this community and I really don’t mind paying the monthly fee to be able to use AutoCAD Premium for home project use that need precision.

Seriously, no time line for something that was there all along, until now.     Very poor answer and decision.

Autodesk technical advisors please can you inform if the print to PDF feature from mobile app will be corrected

It is totally frustrating that i cannot print onsite to pdf to various suppliers and installers - it de values the app and the sense in using cad in our offices

Autodesk recently announced that feature remains unavailable in the latest update. So... if you truly are in dire need of that function today, you will need to find a different software from another vendor.

This is disappointing. Something as basic as exporting to pdf is missing.

  • When will plot to Pdf be restored. The app is pretty much useless to me until this functioality is current. You are killing your product by taking OUT its functionality. Makes no sense.as a premium customer I 2ill be asking for a refund. A CAD program that can't print is not worth having.

Hi,
Download your DWG from the autocad mobile app, and try an online converter
to PDF. unfortunately I've given up on AutoCAD mobile, it just seems like
a total waste of time and they don't seem interested in updating the app so
it's actually useful for people that want to use it for production rather
than just the novelty of having AutoCAD on your iPad that is pretty
dysfunctional anyway

I created a drawing in AutoCAD Mobil on my iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil just to get a feel for its usefulness. I was getting proficient with it. After a couple of long evening after work I finished the drawing. When I went to plot/print it to my printer it was not an option. Could not create PDF either; only email the filename.dwg. What a waste of time.

Very happy to hear this. I pulled up the drawing I created on the iPad Pro (using the Apple Pencil) on my iPhone while sitting on the couch watching TV. Happy to report I was able to create the PDF and open it. If I can do it on the phone i’m sure the iPad will too. Thank you for making the app useful.
