Dear Sir,

In circuit manager, it contains "circuit number" and "circuit description"

I can add the "circuit number" into the wire tag by adding the automatic property definition, however the "circuit description" can not be found. please advice,

Manu thanks,

Kenneth

Wires do not carry circuit information.  The device owns the circuit information, and the Panel object collects the device data.  In the image, you indicate you want the "Circuit Description."  That is not stored on the Device or Panel is only available in Panel Schedules which run off of Core AutoCAD Fields instead of the Property Sets.  I could not find a Circuit Description Automatic Property on  (Device Property Sets, Wire or Panel Property Sets).  It appears it is not available.

Joshua,

Many thanks for your prompt response.

Is it possible to create a “Formula property” to link the field of circuit description ?

Fields do not directly communicate with our AEC Property Sets.  Some Fields do have an equivalent Property Set.  I did not find one for "Circuit Description."  Looks like this will be a manual text process.

Kenneth,

I wanted to follow up, and I had one other thought.  There could always be a way to do this thru .NET and the API.  I'm not savvy on .NET but you may have resources, and there is always the AutoCAD customization discussion group that could offer help.

Joshua
