I'm the estimator for a commercial electrical contractor and I'll soon be taking on the responsibility of doing as-builts and coordination drawings using AutoCAD and Navisworks for 2D and 3D work.  I have had limited exposure to both programs, and I'm not sure how I should go about learning the skills necessary to accomplish what I will actually use the programs for.

If anyone has any recommendations for online courses or classes in NY, CT, or MA, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you in advance.

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

You might find the training courses on Lynda.com useful. Here are a couple of examples:

AutoCAD Training and Tutorials

AutoCAD MEP Essential Training

Navisworks Training and Tutorials

Autodesk Design Academy might also be a helpful resource.

If you'd prefer to find an in-person training, you can find an Autodesk Authorized Training Center near you.

Let me know if this helps point you in the right direction!
