Saving MultiView Part for future use

I started with a 3d Block of a electrical disconnect. I right-clicked on the block and converted to a multi-view part and then added two conduit connectors.

I listed the multi-view part as Type "Switch_Gear" and Subtype "Equipment Switch". However, when I browse "Content builder" it is not there. See Figure 2 below.

How can I save this multi-view part correctly in such a manner that I will be able to insert it into new drawings?

I Imagine the proper way to make it from the start would have been to use the "create new part" button shown in Figure 2.
Autodesk outlines the process for inserting the multiview part here. However, I can not get to this point.

What have I tried:

  • Saving the multi-view part in its own drawing
    • Trying both an "insert" and dragging in from ADCenter. Both just came in as blocks.

Thats is what I like of forums. I started the other way, clicking in content builder and then selecting the block that already was in the drawing, then you add the connections. It has worked for me and I learnt that in AutoCAD MEP there is not conmutative rule, is not the same going from point A to point B than from point B to point A.

Best regards
