I'm designing a rather complex (from my point of view of course) network for fume extraction of some welding machines, I've drawn all the ducts, with all the correct junctions (I think) and the correct air flow direction in all the branches. I need to set the inlets and the outlets, in order to put in the air flow and find the pressure losses of the line, so that I can size the fan.
The inlets (representing each welding machine) with a flexible duct, without any hood or stuff like that, that the operator fix to the correct point of the machine and remains open 24/7, extracting fumes and some ambient air (naturally).
The outlet instead comes after the fan and goes above the roof in a chimney-like manner.
The problem I'm facing is due to the fact that Autodesk of course won't let me run the duct sizing tool because there are open ducts but I'm actually finishing the design with just the ducts, is there a way to set, let's say, one of the ends of the duct as "terminal"? Maybe it's a silly question or an impossible one so I apologize for either the case.
Thank you in advance
Best regards

Hi inpesa,
Please see the idea with false end cap air terminal on gif below ( maybe you can open end duct calculate manually and lock the size and put false end cap air terminal)...
