MEP 2018 electrical wire for older MEP

Hey guys,

WHen i save an electrical floorplan in an older version of MEP and send it to another user (with the previous version of MEP), the wires come through with no pick points and the home runs have no fill in the arrowhead. is there a way i can rectify this so that the wires are moveable/useable for the other user?

AEC objects (conduit, wire, etc.) drawn in the 2018 release of AutoCAD MEP are not backwards compatible with prior releases. The following releases are backwards compatible with each other - 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017. Please refer to the following links for more information:
