how to change default conduit layer

I am wondering if and how I can change the default layer of the conduits. I would like to have the conduits to be on what ever layer I currently have selected. I am running MEP 2015. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thank you.

Enter the Command: AecDwgSetup and go to the Layering tab, set the Layer Key Style to <Current Layer>.

I am not verse in that area. I will take a look. IS there something in particular I am looking for? Everything currently is factory settings.
