Has anyone here been able to import AutoPLANT Raceways models into MEP, and still have intelligence? We are working on migrating our AutoPLANT projects to Autodesk products. We are using MEP for our 3D electrical design software. We have a solid procedure for AutoPLANT piping, just nothing for electrical yet.
AutoPLANT's comparable Autodesk product would be PLANT3D, not this software. Are you migrating to the wrong software?
You probably need an AutoPLANT Object Enabler for any AutoCAD variant you decide to adopt, find out, this would be a question for AutoPLANT creators (or website) and ask if they have such an export ability or tool to do what you want.
Plant 3D doesn't do electrical. We are using it for our piping. We are going to use MEP for the electrical design portion. Thanks anyway, I highly doubt it is possible. Except for XREF'ing it in as dumb 3D objects.
