I would like to model a horizontally installed GFCI duplex receptacle. I have looked through the duplex receptacle types and none are horizontally oriented. What is the best method for solving this problem?
Of course, the object rotates about the z-axis by changing "Rotation" in the Properties pane. This method does not adversely impact the display of the object in the plan view [Model/Top View/Electrical Display Configuration].
I can get the object rotated by changing the view, setting UCS to view, and rotating the object. With this method, the object no longer appears correctly in Model/Top View/Electrical Display Configuration. Basically, the plan symbol view direction also rotates when the object is rotated in this manner.
Any suggestions or sample files would be appreciated!
