Block insertion point has changed from the set basepoint

I have a drawing where all of my classic and dynamic blocks are saved, and are referenced to a series of tool palettes. All are saved in a Catalogue within the Content Browser. All blocks had the proper base point set, but just recently, they have all defaulted for top-left of the block. I attempted to enter into the dependency drawing and reset the basepoint to the proper location, but that did not override the default. I also deleted all palettes and reloaded them to no avail. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks!

Are you sure the file you dragged those blocks into did not already have the same named blocks in them with this problem already in place?

The file was created from scratch and was working perfectly fine (with the
proper basepoint) for the last 5 months, and then all of a sudden changed
to default the basepoint as the top left of the block.

Figured it out! Not sure how this occurred, but below is the solution:

- Select any block or device from the palette.

- In the command line, hit 'J' for justification.

- Within the justification setting, type 'IP' for insertion point.

This change should propagate to all blocks. Hopefully someone finds this useful.
