Autocad MEP 2017 freezes

I recently started using AutoCAD MEP 2017 after upgrading from MEP 2013. The program seems to run smoothly at first but it continuously freezes throughout the day. I don't recall performing any actions which are out of the ordinary or using multiple commands simultaneously. It just randomly freezes for about 1m or sometimes 2m randomly throughout and this is very frustrating. I'm not aware of any updates or patches that I may be missing. Any help is dearly appreciated.

May not help but check your user profile for any paths, links to files, folders, templates etc that are not valid. Have found it will search to try and locate them if not there.

Also, if you migrated settings try a 'clean' 2017 profile and add any local changes.

Turn off LINEFADING and LINESMOOTHING variables in MEP2017 and see if that helps.

Thank you both for that suggestion. I tried turning off both LINEFADING and LINESMOOTHING and I've still experienced a freeze while using CAD MEP 2017. As of now, I've started using my older CAD MEP 2015 until I can find a solution to this problem.

My AutoCAD Architecture was freezeing when selecting snap locations while editing (e.g. moving space grips)

Check the variable TEMPOVERRIDES is 0, NOT 1

Command: TEMPOVERRIDES

Enter new value for TEMPOVERRIDES <1>: 0

No idea what changed this but it crippled my ACA install!
