Area Fittings-BOMTABLES command

Hi to all,

I have one question regading BOMTABLES command (autocad mep 2017).

I need a surface area for a elbow from attached files (1000x1000, r-1000mm) , I draw a elbow and hit the command bomtables and look for area sq metar 14,283m2

But then I was check a area with fabrication cad mep for the same dimesnion and area was 9.7...

Which surface is in the table there calculate with bomtable command?

Is it correct?

I didn't find solution about this. This is old post but problem (as I can see) stay.

Maybe we can ask for help @Tiana_Y .

I really don't know why bomtables give wrong area number but I notices this few years ago when I use autocad mep so if you order ducts using this values you will have a problem on the field.
