I have a job due at end of day which is fine, but for some reason all of the plumbing fittings are coming in extremly small. I have to zoom way in just to tell what they are. This is the only file that i have had do this. I know my units are set up correctly. Does anyone know of anyway to fix this? Do i have them on some different scale that I cant seem to find? They are tiny in model space but come in at the correct size in paper space. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I really do not want to start this job over from scratch.`
Tiny? As in mm / inches difference? If there a dimensional relationship? Or tiny in display only in modelspace... as in you have something far far away and you're not able to grab/delete it for some reason?
You've not shared at least a portion of your DWG for others to help you expedite an answer.. .
They are about 1/16" in size when normally they are closer to 10".
Showing a portion of the DWG would do no good. You would not be able to see.
I have a huge civil plan xrefed into this drawing, I believe the difference in the civil and architectural scales between drawings somehow messed up the scale for the plumbing fittings.
Anyway, I just started a new file seperate from the rest of the drawing and completed the plumbing.
Your drawing's annotation scale needs to be adjusted. If you insert your plumbing/piping fittings, and enable Single Line Schematic representation, then you have to make sure your viewports are adjusted accordingly. The annotation scale will control how large the schematic symbols are in your viewports, compared to the viewport scale. Yes, they CAN be set differently in the Properties. For example, you could have your layout look good at 1/2"=1'-0", but the symbols are too small or too large. Adjust the Annotation Scale inside the viewport to fix your symbols, then adjust the Custom Scale to fix the scaling of the viewport.
