Where is the dim update command in autocad mechanical

Using Autocad mechanical, I cant find a way to update my dims. anyone know how to in 2020 acad mechanical to update dims correct scale and style.   I have seen all the post about this, I am still confused.   Anyone have any links that review how to use dims and power dims.

Hi,

Awesome article lots of good stuff.  Thanks I appreciate it.  I have attached a picture of the button I want to add to mechanical desktop.  I'm sure the is away to do add this button but I just forget.

Accepted solution

The command you are looking for, should be "DIMSTYLE". If you are able to run the command by typing it, you can also find it in your command list.

 

One way of adding it manually, is to click Manage > User Interface, and search for "Dimension, Update" in the command list (the lower scroll list). From here, you can move it to your desired Toolbar-location in the upper scroll list.

 

The standard location for the command, is found in Toolbars > Dimension

They should have left an option to type it in as opposed to getting it from the pull down menu.
