Save Error

I am using Autocad 2012 and recently I started getting the error while saving the drawing. Though by clicking the "OK" button I could save the drawing, the issue is about the frequecy of the error that I get. Some times I need to check the OK button several times to save the drawing. Is there a way to get rid of this error?

Are these drawing being saved to a local hard drive, a removable drive, or a network location?

If the latter, did something change recently with the network share (different hardware, controllers, etc.?)

It seems as if something else has a lock on the file at the time you're trying to save, hence why the save process stops with the .tmp file.

Try check your network connection. Or try to "save as".

Yes, you are correct, if it the drawing is opened and saved in local drive, I don't get this error, hence as told by you, this should be a network issue. I will work with my IT team.
