Recursion error!

Everytime I open my library that contains all our blocks I get a pop window that says:

Recursion error!

The file

xxxxxxxx/genlib.glf is already used in library!

then after that one this one pops up:

Read Error!

Could not read the file

"xxxxxxxx/genlib.glf"!

What the heck is going on here, tried googling it and of course got nothing.

I saw your post, and hope you were able to resolve this issue.  I am also not familiar with this specific error, but a recursion is caused by circular functions, like when command calls on itself. The genlib.glf or genlib2.glf are the Gen Lib folders for the Mechanical content Library. 

It sounds like the library is referencing itself for content. I have seen something like this happen when 2 different locations (say local driver and server) are listed in the AutoCAD Support files under OPTIONS for library files.

Is possible that the file genlib.glf is corrupted

You have to cancel the file genlib.glf  (before save a copy for backup)

and after 'create' a new link for the library

Open the Library--> right mouse botton on library...Choose Create...etc

The system recreate the file genlib
