Problem with dim scale linear changing randomly

I've attatch the print shown in the recording, which displays a problem that we have had for some time. Sometimes when dimmensioning a drawing, some callouts will randomly display the wrong dimmension. You can probably guess how big a problem this truely is because it's not every dimmension on a part, it may be none but there could also be many. Sometimes it may even display a 'normal' dimmension so it goes unnoticed until the physical part shows up different than was expected. It's frustrating that we can not trust the software to give consistant, accurate results and would like to get to the bottom of it.

This is a common occurance in paperspace dimensioning. A user must be very careful to select only modelspace objects to get modelspace lengths.

The first and second dimensions were placed from the centerline, in the thru holes, as start and finish points. Modelspace objects = modelspace lengths.

The next few dimensions were placed using the previous dimension lines as start and finish points. Paperspace objects = paperspace lengths.

Thank you for the reply, we will just have to pay closer attention to where the start and finish points are then. Is there any way to avoid paperspace dimensions all together as we never require the dimensions from paperspace?
