Hi Cheryl,
I have watched the YouTube video. It doesn’t help.
My part is a water pipe fixture, which is round, the key in the YouTube video is upright.
But thank you for the gesture.

While you wait... scrap your 2D: start over with 3D. Ask your instructor at your college/school for guidance.

@shdy1975 But your CAD file lists as an EDU variant of AutoCAD: so you either signed up at a school somewhere to get it and are now using it, or you are not using AutoCAD at all (other CAD programs can show up as EDU files).

Or there is a licensing issue that may not be a thing to chat about in Autodesk's house here in the forums 🙂

Now you know what I meant with my last sentence.

The answer to your question though remains the same: create your 3D content using 3D objects/tools in AutoCAD (or whatever that other CAD program is) https://www.google.com/search?q=autocad+3d+90+degree+elbow

@pendean,

I signed up at a school in Canada where I learned AutoCAD 2D and now using the software.

I looked into YouTube to search tutorials by key words “convert AutoCAD 2D to 3D”, didn’t find videos that fit my need. Your key words do. The search results are useful.

Pendean,
It seems Autodesk doesn’t embed time lock in AutoCAD. Once AutoCAD downloaded to my laptop, it is active even after my access to Autodesk has expired. Of course, my AutoCAD doesn’t get updates.
By scrapping my 2D drawing, I’d rather use Solidworks for 3D. I learned one class of Solidworks before dropping out school which left me a feeling that it is designed in an “intuitive way” to use, similarly to iOS, In comparison, AutoCAD is useable which is designed in a “mediocre way” just like Windows. Yet, AutoCAD has monopolized 2D market like Windows’ monopoly. I tried FreeCAD, an open source software and found out its website is poorly managed, worse than Autodesk’s. It seems lack of fund is common problem of open source apps. Without competing, why would Autodesk board hold users dear? Autodesk website bugs will NOT get fixed and the company will NOT pay attention to its website users’ feedback, which is sad.
