Missing toolbars

Just trying to set up a custom toolbar with all the 3D modelling commands and I've noticed that the Surface and Surface editing toolbars no longer exist. I can find the individual commands, but I don't particularly want to spend ages recreating these toolbars from scratch. Have they been deliberately removed?

Why not just create the toolbar(s) you want? You'd be done by now.
Need help creating one or more in CUI command?

Yes, I can re-create the missing toolbars from scratch.

It's just a bit annoying- the number of hoops I have to jump through just to get everything working as before.

Hi @peterm,

you can be inspired by RIBBON, here is the menu for Surface & Co.

Yes, I know the surface tools are available on the ribbon.

However, I don't like using the ribbon as it increases the number of clicks I have to perform and slows me down.

I prefer to have everything I need on display at once (well, 95% or so), so that one click does what I want.

that's why I made my special Ribbon with all the tools 😉

Maybe one day when I've got nothing else to do, I'll have a go at creating a custom ribbon.

Thanks for the suggestion.

it's simple and looks something like this:

Why recreate anything over and over again: do it once, save as a custom CUIx file, store it somewhere very safe and back it up, if it every disappears you just CUILOAD it back and be done with it.

Remember to always save your workspace manually using WSSAVE command after any CUIx change too.

I'm not recreating it over and over, I'm trying to do it correctly from scratch due to the fact that my saved CUI has been causing problems with AutoCAD Mechanical 2022.

What's annoying is that toolbars that existed before have been deleted, resulting in me having to take extra time to recreate them.
