Missing menu in ribbon's Annotation tab

Hi,

In the latest edition of AutoCAD 2024 Mechanical, there is missing menu in ribbon's Annotation tab. There is missing little triangle on the right hand of the text "Annotation". It was used to select current dimension style or text style. Now the triangle is missing. Is there a way to bring it back? The quick menu, attached to the little triangle, is there moved somewhere else?

On the other hand: There is a current dimension style that is not accessible for editing. If a set STANDARD as current dimension style, it is not used by dimensioning tools on the ribbon. But if I type commend "DIM" it uses current dimension style? How to edit the dimension style used by ribbon.

Are you deliberately (or accidentally) using MECH2024 "as autocad"?

And what version and variant of AutoCAD did you used to use before MECH2024 if I may ask?

We teaching AutoCAD. Latest version installed was "Mechanical" 2024 which is diferent than AutoCAD 2023

Yes, the software offered by Autodesk with the name "autoCAD" are quite different, deliberately.

if you are teaching only "AutoCAD", may I ask why you installed a very different variant instead? "2024" is available in all of these different-appearing software programs
