Importing solidworks files

Im trying to import Solidworks files but the files wont open. I think the files are from soldiworks 2016 or 2015 but i cant import the files successfully. Is it possible to import them?

What version of AutoCAD are you running?

AutoCAD 2016 will open up to SolidWorks 2015, but not 2016, as SolidWorks 2016 was released after AutoCAD 2016.

Same principle working backwards with AutoCAD 2015....

Can you attach your SolidWOrks file here?
