How to Rescale Text and Leader Notes

All,

Good morning!  I've run into a challenge where I cannot rescale the text or leader notes in ACADM 2020.  For dimensions I use the AMSYMSCALE and AMRESCALE without issue, but these don't seem to be able to apply these commands to text or leaders.  Is there a better process for rescaling text and leader notes?  Thanks in advance for any assistance, hope all else is well and have a most blessed day!

Peace,

Pete

Just a guy on a couch...

Please give a kudos if helpful and mark as a solution if somehow I got it right.

Hi @petestrycharske ,

why so complicated 😁! Use scaling area (AMSCAREA) in the model range, with a scale, e.g. 1:15. You can change the scale at any time after double-clicking on the frame and all objects IN THIS AREA are automatically rescaled. Scaling area can be placed in the layout as a view. Just test the functions.

IMPORTANT:
- you draw in this area without scaling (possibly with scaling but the more complicated it gets)
- The dimensioning is automatically created under the predefined scale
- If you have texts on the right scale in the area, everything will be implemented correctly when rescaling (see above)

MORE IMPORTANTLY:
- with multileader notes (MLEADER) it is even more complicated, here you should set annotative = yes in Properties palette, then it behaves correctly. Without this setting, you have to manually change the scale for all selected multileader notes in the Properties palette (overall scale).

I hope I could help you somehow.
