Custom settings import on new install

Hi,

Just started a new job and would like to use custom settings that my colleagues use. I have tried to import those but i get an error message (those settings are exported from another coworker). Is there a soulution for this?

Hi @yafet_zeraiFY84S,

Please post the complete error message or the screenshot of the error message for finding a solution.

Do check if the below method works for you. 

From your colleague's machine.
Launch the product and go to options > Profiles > create a new profile say, "custom profile" by clicking on Add to list > Select the custom profile and click on "Set Current"
Now export this profile and copy that file to your machine and import it, using the import in Options.

You both need to be using the same exact 100% identical year version of AutoCADMECHANICAL too, are you?

Thanks, I did the import thing and in options->profile I could change to the new one and it worked!
