better product for drawing screw conveyors

Hello, I currently have AutoCAD mechanical 2014. Can anyone tell me what the best autocad/autodesk product would be for drawing screw conveyors (augers)? Thanks

Hello, I don't know if you are familiar with screw conveyors so I pasted a
picture below. The way I am drawing them now the flights come to a point at
the top and the bottom like the first picture below. , I am trying to figure
out how to give them a more rounded spiral look like in the second picture
below. Is there a way to do that in mechanical? Thank you, Mike

I'm going to recommend Inventor. I may be partial, but it's so much easier and viable for any 3D modeling in my opinion.
