Do you mean your dimensions are using a different dimstyle that looks nothing like you want? From HELP https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-mechanical/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/201...

Or do you have have a dimstyle override that is adding a little extra that you wish to get rid of? From HELP https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-mechanical/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/201...

I have had the same problem but found out that for some reason autocad was creating a override dimension style for my current dimension style. When it happened occasionally I had to check in DDIM the dimension style and SET CURRENT  to my dim style. I think it usually did the override dimension when I was dimensioning through a viewport.
