AMPOWERDIM_ANG

Hi community,

When i am using the command AMPOWERDIM_ANG, Autocad don´t show the dimension of the angle.

If i use the comand DIMANGULAR it works fine.

Bellow you can see the text on the command line.

Command: _ampowerdim_ang
Select arc, circle, line or [Baseline/Chain] <specify vertex>: 1 found, 1 total
Select second line:
Command: *Cancel*

Do you know how to address this issue.

I´m in 2023 Autocad Version (PV 27.0.52.0),

Are your dimensions being created on a layer that is turned off? Turn on all your layers (as well as unfreeze) and see if your dimensions show up.

Yes, I´ve already tried this,

Addiotional details that I didn´t mention before.

It happens only in the layout tabs and with the elements inside a viewport, if i draw a new line on the layout that I am using the dimension show up normally.

This command is for Mechanical Autocad, do you have it?

I don't have access to that command at the moment. Can you select the items with the QSELECT command?

If so, can you see if there are unexpected values in the Z properties?

Yes, I am using Autocad Mechanical

Bellow you can see what I am talking about,

The lines with the angle dimension i drew it on the layout space

The other ones inside of the viewport created via scale area on the model space don´t accept the ampowerdim_ang.

Other kind of dimensions like linear are working fine, and as i mentioned before the DIMANGULAR works well.

I can use the DIMANGULAR, but i would like to understand if is there a setting for make it activate/deactivate.

How are you using this command exactly? What is the feedback from your commandline (make it 5-10-15 lines tall for this exercise) when you use that command? No issues at all here using it INSIDE as well as OUTSIDE the viewport in a layout in my own drawings.

Side note: you are missing all the updates

Hi @pendean , I´m just cliking on the icon to get an angle dimension.

The command line above is exactly the same as the first post, all the time.
I will check about the update. Thanks

Hi @Fabiomcosta,

I verified your dwg file in AutoCAD Mechanical 2023 (with update 2023.0.2) and I'm not able to reproduce the issue.

Can you please install the latest update and help to check again.
