We still cannot access the data and less data is provided in other services than WMTS...:-(

A WMTS provider is one of the most needed improvements for AutoCAD Map 3D. I was hoping version 2017 would help us out, but unfortunately it didn't. AUTODESK please help us !!!!

Also, make this available in ALL Autodesk software like AutoCAD Civil 3D and Autodesk InfraWorks 360! WMTS offers far more performance then WMS.

Agreed, please implement WMTS, it saves from having to download aerial imagery in a dwg format and referncing it into an existing CAD drawing. Saves time, and a heap of space aswell.

Yes, this is a MUST in the mapping technology, the need of this feature makes me use other GIS apps.

I don't know why thi MUST feature for mapping is still missing in autocad map. This is pushing me using other software.

I found a very good solution. It took me only half day to install, configure and test. Now I have WTMS sources connected to Autodesk software via WMS connector connected to my MapProxy instance. My MapProxy instance caches tiles, so it should be faster. 🙂 Link: https://mapproxy.org/

Agreed! Our county only turns on the WTMS on their orthos. It's stopped me cold as the county provided maps are much better than the enhanced BING maps. I don't want to see the leaves on the trees!

Hi John @John_DeLeeuw, good question and also difficult question for me to answer at this moment. As you may know that by legal obligation, I am not allowed to comment on 2021 release yet. Conclusions could be only drawn on your own.
