XREF Transparency

Just upgraded from AutoCAD Map 3D 2009 to AutoCAD Map 3D 2011, and noticed that by default my XREFs are showing up with what looks like a 50% transparency giving them a "washed out" look.

Is there a system variable to correct this?

While trying to figure out how to post my drawings here so I could get your help I discovered the Bind command (so my xrefs would be connected to my drawing when I uploaded them) and It solved my problem 🙂  Turning an xref into a block may not usually be the best thing to do, especially if one may want to update it, but it works GREAT with an image that will not change.

I think I actually figured it out now.  I tried many things in the dwg that I was xreffing into my working dwg, as well as the working dwg itself, but I hadn't tried the beautiful "fade control - xref display" SLIDER from within the xref dwg.  Worked like a charm.  Sorry for my less helpful posts prior to this one.
