Workspace issue

Greetings. I am hoping someone can help. I have a custom workspace created called "BKF" (my initials, not important here). Everything is set as I like it. Boom, works, and seems fine. But when I close down cad, then re-open it later, the BKF workspace is current, but some of the configuration reverts back to a different set up. mainly the command line is floating rather than docked as I like it and have it set in my BKF workspace.

If I select a different workspace, then reselect the BKF workspace, it is as I intended, but changes back when I close then open.

Any ideas here?

Sounds like you are fighting the LOCKUI setting: it needs to be turned off while you move content around, then turned back on afterwards.

AND... Are you manually saving your WORKSPACE changes using WSSAVE command? I find it best to be deliberate about my actions instead of assuming a checked box somewhere is taking care of it. Do it before then after you turn on LOCKUI command.

If none of those help, then you might just have a damaged CUIx file, or your OS login is restricted enough to prevent changes saving fully: latter is uncommon but not unheard of.
