WMS Service

Hello maybe someone here can help me.

I installed a wms connection from my country, because i need to create a plan of a pice of a street. 

Everything fine but i need to cut out only a small pice of the whole map. i cant work while the whole country map is always refreshing..

i hope someone does understand haha,

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums.
Sadly, WMS is Raster, and I don't know any way to clip or crop a piece of it. Maybe someone here can chime in with something clever.

Sorry, but you can't 'crop' WMS like you would a raster. You can, however, RESAMPLE RASTER from the Map Task Pane.

Once you're connected and the WMS appears in modelspace you can zoom-in tightly to your area-of-interest so you can 'capture' your area-of-interest. It's a good idea to make your area-of-interest a little wider and a little taller than what you need. That way if you decide to pan up/down or left/right you'll still have the coverage offered by your captured area. Once captured, the WMS will behave as though it were a cropped image. If you zoom-in and -out you'll see the captured edges because the WMS coverage is now static and no longer dynamic.

When you execute Resample Raster you'll capture just the WMS area displayed on your monitor. (Note: Bing aerial map is shown in background.)

To return to the original coverage area before you resampled, zoom-out, way way out, then resample again. By zooming way out, you are 'redefining' the edges of your desired area. If you zoom-out far enough your new area will be the maximum area offered by the WMS service.
