Ùnable to select X Y Z fields for feature points

After creating an ODBC Connection thru FDO, when trying to specify fields names to be used as coordinates, I found no way to do it. I remember that I did it in the past with previous versions (now 2019 with latest update) and when selecting for example the "X" then I was able to select the field name. Now I find no way to select it. Test connection is OK.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Vague, kinda vague. Please explain so a suitable workflow can be developed.

  1. Your ODBC, are you connecting to an 1) Access database, 2) Excel database, 3) something else or 4) I don't know?
  2. What are the 'current' features in your map? A shapefile? An sdf? Something else?
  3. How did you bring in the current data? Through an FDO connection? Another method?

Is it possible you don't need an ODBC? What are your coordinates? Geographic or projected? Do you want to insert points? How many points, a lot or a few?

Hi,

A Screencast for Excel connection via FDO ODBC I can choose X ou Y as coordinates.

I use Civil 3D 2019, but I think it's the same for MAP 3D.
