Hello

I have a new installation of autocad map 2018

I was very comfortable with the right click option leading to the contextual menu (beginning by quick selection...).

But I don't have this menu anaymore.

I searched on forum... found the 'options' solutions (see picture)

but it doesn't work like it supposed to...

any helps?

Thank you

JB

If I Check this box, it only lead to "repeat the previous command"

It really look like a bug, the command don't respond as they supposed to

With that boxed checked, a slower click give you a menu, a speedy click give you <enter>, it has always worked like that and still does. Try it.

And ensure your MECH2018 is fully updated too.

Hi,

what exactly happens when you now use the right-mouse click while the mouse is within the graphic area?

Hi,

then it might depend on your mouse driver or mouse driver settings, in worst case you have killed the CUI in AutoCAD.

Try first to look to your mouse settings in the Windows control panel, see what is assigned to the right mouse button.

If your mouse has more than 2 buttons and one wheel, try the other buttons, maybe you can find the context menu appear then.

You might also try a different mouse (different vendor), make sure to restart AutoCAD after the mouse has changed.

Another test is to login with another Windows user account, if the context menu then works well, it might be your Map3D profile or your Map3D CUIX.

BINGO Alfred!

I tried with another user account and it works.

I installed my own CUI.... and I actually had the intuition it can be linked with this problem.

So I suppose I probably "killed" the CUI... how can I fix it now?

Thanks a lot for your help

Hi,

Most secure way would be to reset settings to default (>>>details<<<) and then recreate your modifications.
