Hello Folks,
AutoCAD Map3D 2016.
I'm a long-time AutoCAD user, for the first time using Map3D.
I like "classic" menu bars and invoking commands via the keyboard. I don't like ribbons.
For a week or two I was using Map3D and managed to gradually get the menu to a state I could be efficient as I have been for years. Today I launch Map3D and my menus are just gone with just three items in the menu bar. It was fine yesterday.
How do I get Map3D to use the out-of-the-box menu settings (so I could, again, refine my AutoCAD efficiency).
Is there any way to hide the ribbon forever? Ever ever?

Hello dsears,
I did not. AutoCAD really seemed to have lost it's mind this morning. The Ribbon was visible, the menu bar was empty and the corporate-specific palettes were gone.
I had to reload the corporate-specific cuix file, make the Ribbon go away and enable the old-school menu bars.
I shut down my computer at the end of every day. It normally behaves fine.
