Map3D Tutorials

Hello Folks,

How does one use the AutoCAD Map3D tutorials? Specifically.

I'm a long-time AutoCAD user and am preparing to use Map3D at work.

I've accessed Help>Learn AutoCAD Map3D>Tutorials and it doesn't seem to do much but have me run around in circles.

Yes, I've downloaded the tutorial zip files. Now... What to do with them...

Please be specific.

Regards,

Mel

Mel,

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums.

A great place to get started is the <<<Learning Videos>>>. They're mostly a minute or two long, and show you workflows and nomenclature. Once you get your sea legs with those videos you can re-attack the tutorials.

Hello Dave,

I've downloaded several zip files (from the AutoDesk site) that appeared to be tutorials for AutoCAD Map3D. These files had names like "tutorial_data_-_moving_from_autocad_to_map_3d2" and, when unzipped, contained multiple files each.

I was under the impression the tutorials offered were of the more traditional type; acquire the application, acquire the files necessary for the specific tutorial, follow-along with a supplied educational lesson.

I have some files and I'm not sure what to do with them.

Mel,

So you downloaded Tutorial Data from <<<Here>>>? And started in on the Tutorials <<<Here>>>?

Hello Dave,

I was not aware of the video links until now. I will put them to use.

Thank you,

Mel

I would like to watch the tutorial video's, but I am not willing to install adobe flash because it is no longer supported. Is this tutorial going to be available in another format?
