Line Types

Hi, when I try to edit a style for sewer, drainage
or water lines my linetype do not show up in the patter pull down
(evan though they are in the drawing). Is there a was to use my complex line
types?

Thanks, Joe

With FDO data connect?

Short answer, not at the users level.

Murph,

Could you give us the long answer?

I'm curious. I push for our users to use FDO but this may be what they consider a limitation.

Thanks.

First it requires you to enable Enhanced Stylization, a registry edit.
Second you need to save the connection to a .layer file.
Third you need to open the .layer file and edit it.
Fourth none of it is documented for Map3D it's all for Map Guide but works
with Map3D. There is no users interface to do it..

I may blog about it after the first of the year.

That would be great, Murph.

Seems like a pretty basic task that has been made a tad more complex for some reason.
